Summer letter, our operations will continue as planned in 2026

Dear customer,

Summer holiday schedules will again affect our delivery times between Midsummer and early August.

Our glass production will mainly be on vacation during weeks 28, 29 and 30.

Our steel profile production will remain in operation, and our office will be open as usual throughout the summer.

The positive development seen at the beginning of 2026 was tested by events in the Middle East at the end of February. Rising energy prices have increased costs broadly, and general confidence in the economy has again been affected. These developments have also had an impact on Jaakko-Tuote Oy’s operations.

To ensure reliable and competitive deliveries for our customers, we have prepared even more extensively than before in terms of materials and other key factors. Thanks to our diverse product range, our order book has remained at a satisfactory level. Supported by our skilled and professional personnel, we are able to respond flexibly to changes in production needs.

We will continue to invest in the development of our production and our personnel. Through these investments, we aim to further strengthen our operations and demonstrate that we are a strong, flexible and committed partner both now and in the future. Responsibility remains one of the key principles guiding Jaakko-Tuote Oy’s operations. As one example, this summer we are employing 42 young people in summer jobs in Panelia. In addition, during the first part of the year we have invested in work to determine our carbon footprint.

Our confidence in our own work and our long-term development efforts provide a strong foundation for continuing as a reliable and flexible supplier of safety glass and steel profiles in the Finnish and European markets.
